Cross Country

Just got my Cross Country solo in before my 51st birthday, actually on the same day I moved house!

On a typical November day, set out from Durham Tees Valley (EGNV) and concentrating of course, didn't switch on my GPS tracker until having cleared Ingleby Barwick. Turned north at Redcar and up the coast to Seaham - had to make a decision to continue to the Tyne Bridges because of threatening clouds over Newcastle - then told to orbit over North Gosforth whilst a heavy came in.

Quick turnaround at Newcastle (EGNT) and straight out to Stagshaw Masts and along the Tyne Valley over Haltwhistle to Carlisle (EGNC). Stopped for a lovely ham, egg and chips before setting out back down the Tyne Valley before turning southeast oover Hexham, past Fishburn, reporting Sedgefield and back into EGNV.

They did wonder where I'd been, but Carlisle lunches are good :)
