Pondering a new icon for my micro.blog hosted website spotthehall.net and thought about spots and other blemishes on other worlds.
I naturally looked first for one perhaps called “Hall” and lo-and-behold, there is a lunar crater named in honour of the American astronomer Asaph Hall 😎
However (sorry Asaph) no matter how I tried, it simply couldn't compare to this Martian crater, Victoria
so, you’ve been usurped… (and simplified).
