🐦‍⬛ Bird table etiquette: Great Tits are first on the scene (almost pecking your hand), Blue Tits aren't far behind (but lack the courage), Goldfinches are bossy and guardy even when not hungry and just hang around being a pain, Chaffinches squabble amongst themselves, Dunnocks are peaceful and non-combative, Tree Sparrows blend-in, Robins try to be assertive (but fail because nobody takes any notice), Blackbirds have forgotten where they are, Grey Squirrels are just vandals, but everybody gets out of the way when the Great Spotted Woodpecker turns up.

Just thinking that it's over two years since I last picked up a paint brush, and I haven't missed it.

This is one of the last I did - they were following a new style - but my thoughts are now turning back to photography, which I was interested in long before I started painting.
